This week, we had an extra large developmental card. Lots of great action including four mixed matches. Two of the men will be receiving Premier Division trials based on their performance, so there's a lot at stake tonight. All matches took place in our studio ring under pro style rules.
The weekly Friday developmental card took place in the FWO mat room. Matches were amateur style rules. No striking allowed and action which went outside the circle was restarted in the center from an advantage position if applicable. The only way to win the match was by pinning an opponent's shoulders to the mat for a 5-count pin.
Good news! We have opened up a discussion board at FWO. This will be the primary means by which you, the fan, can interact with us so we can have a better understanding of the kinds of wrestling action you want. There's discussions on FWO, the wrestlers, as well as other topics like 3D art rendering and the general femfight community. So come on by and give us your input. We'd love to hear from you!
FWO Forum
The forum may be used for special contests in the future. Such prizes could be special 3D fantasy fighting creations or booking your very own FWO match. Stop by often for news in this regard.
We moved the ladies in training back into the studio for this week's round of matches. Here's how the card went down:
We held a closed door developmental wrestler card in our new mat room last night. All the matches were submission or a 10-second pin to get the fall. Here are the results:
Fantasy Wrestling Online has been a hectic place as of late. We are building our infrastructure and will be debuting some of our new wrestling facilities in the very near future! We also have some exciting matches on the horizon:
Fantasy Wrestling Online has set up an official Twitter account! We're calling it "FWO Scoop" and it will be the way for our fans to keep up with all the behind the scenes happenings. It'll also be a good way to keep up with special announcements and alerts on when matches are posted. You can follow the feed in the right sidebar right here, or by clicking on the Twitter icon located on the right side of the top navigation bar.
This feed will be managed by two of my special assistants, who also happens to be in training as developmental wrestlers. We feel this will give you a unique and exciting perspective on our burgeoning young wrestling company!
Fantasy Wrestling Online is getting flooded with wanna be wrestlers. We have found quite a few potential superstars, and many have already proven their worth through trials (keep coming back to see some of them). However, there are only two more spots left in the initial Premier Division. To give an advantage to some of the girls who have been here from the outset, at least one loser from the last round of Premier Division qualifying matches will get a direct shot at the big time.
In order to pick which wrestler gets a do-over, we decided to hold a poll to let the fans decide. You can find it at the top of the right sidebar. In other words, here's your chance to book a match at FWO! So, vote for your favorite from the girls below:
Many matches are in the can or in the pipeline, and I'm debating whether I should publish them when complete or put them out in regular intervals. This is a free site, so I'm under no obligation to deliver periodic updates. Using that logic, I should just publish matches as I go. However, I do realize the way 20 updates in 10 days followed by no updates in a month looks on a blog.
I think a compromise will be best for now. So, I am going to schedule matches to be posted around 2-3 days apart. Due to my real world situation dealing with a new job starting in a few weeks, this will make the most sense.
In the meantime, while I pump out a good amount of matches, I'll also be posting profiles, interviews, etc... in between the scheduled matches to add more story and backdrop to the federation I'm creating here.
So, keep coming back to FWO and post if you like what you see. I'm always up for suggestions, so feel free to let me know what you want to see.
One month down, and things are just beginning to heat up at Fantasy Wrestling Online! While we try to get the format finalized, we will continue to offer some of the best free fantasy wrestling around.
Carmen recently earned her way into the Premier Division, which will be the primary focus of this site. Three other matches are in the works for automatic bids. The two remaining spots will be filled through an interesting twist. Stay tuned for that. The initial lineup will see four men joining the six elite female grapplers. Some will have to earn their way, but one spot is reserved for yours truly. Why? Well, because I'm the boss.
When all that is settled, a side tournament will be announced to crown the U-21 champion. That will consist of eight competitors regardless of division or sex! It should be a lot of fun! Details, such as the name of that title, are yet to be worked out.
The point system was kicked off when Paloma defeated Dizzy to remain in the Pro Division. Divisional points can only be earned through divisional matches or special awards (like bikini contests). So Carmen has no Premier Division points currently, but has 3 pro division points waiting for her she winds up getting relegated. Make sense? If not, it will as time goes on. Points are important for rankings and tie breakers for title challenges. However, they are not the be all end all. Believe me, this will get fun as time goes on.
Keep coming back to this site for more updates!
