The weekly Friday developmental card took place in the FWO mat room. Matches were amateur style rules. No striking allowed and action which went outside the circle was restarted in the center from an advantage position if applicable. The only way to win the match was by pinning an opponent's shoulders to the mat for a 5-count pin.
Results:
1. Meghan def. Stella. Stella still looked injured from being rocked by Angelique last week. Meghan was in control for most of the match, pinning Stella with a single leg cradle in 4:11.
2. Padma def. Seiko. Padma looked very impressive, wearing Seiko down with several holds that stretched the poor girl from Long island. Finally, Padma put her opponent out of her misery with a dominant matchbook pin in 6:35.
3. Sojourne def. Dizzy. Sojourne earned her first victory, but she had to be warned several times about illegal holds. However, those tactics paid off as Dizzy was noticable stunned from several of her illegal elbows and knees. The match ended with Sojourne mounting Diz and forcing her shoulders to the mat. Dizzy was too weak to power out. 5:15.
4. Sasha def. Rachel. The question onlookers were asking was how Rachel survived nine minutes in a wrestling match with the much larger Sasha. Supposedly, Rachel rubbed Sasha the wrong way and the Kiev powerhouse specially requested the matchup. Several times, Rachel outmaneuvered Sasha, but giving up 50 pounds in such a restrained format was too much. Sasha trapped Rachel in a crucifix position and the smaller Canadian couldn't get her off of her. 9:25.
5. Lin Mei def. Becky. In what was easily match of the night, Lin Mei had her hands full with the teenage Becky. The match went back and forth until Becky gained the upperhand and thought she had pinned Lin Mei with one minute left. While Becky was celebrating, the ref ruled it a near fall and Lin Mei applied a small package for the win. A scuffle broke out after the match as both girls still wanted a piece of one another. 9:25.
