10/2 Developmental Results

The first few weeks of developmental wrestling action has shown us most of the ladies in training have a lot of work to do.  However, a few have risen to the top.  After Friday's card, one woman has even earned herself a Professional Division trial!  Click below to see who that wrestler is as well as the rest of the results.

The 10/2/09 Devevopmental card took place once again in the FWO studio.  A few girls suffered injuries during a rough training week, so there were only four matches:

1.  Sasha def. Sojourn via submission.  After the upset at the hands of Stella last week, Sasha returned to form, completely overwhelming Sojourn.  The powerful woman from Kiev wore down her opponent with powerful throws and slams before finally submitting her with a bearhug in under four minutes.

2.  Rachel def. Dizzy via pinfall.  Diz was back to her losing ways, this time against the debuting Rachel.  The Canadian, in her debut match, impressed many with her areal assault.  After a series of drop kicks, flying head scissors, and cross body blocks, Dizzy was too exhausted to kick out of a stunning bent over backwards pin combination from Rachel after eight minutes of action.  Word has it, she just completed pro wrestling school.  Wherever she came from, we're now expecting big things from this young woman.

3.  Lin Mei def. Mary via submission.  Another high flyer, Lin Mei took down Mary for yet another defeat for the lady from NoCal.  Lin Mei dazzled the studio audience with flying luchador moves as well as showing off her technical side, submitting Mary with an STF in the sixth minute.

4.  Angelique def. Stella via pinfall. Angelique yet again but on a tour de force of superiority using a vast array of leg holds.  She had Stella so confused during the match, we didn't know how the Texan would respond to getting worked like that.  Well, she took it quite well and is eager to get back to work.  Angelique, on the other hand, is ready for bigger things.  The Frechwoman has impressed us so much, she has been awarded a Pro Division trial as soon as possible!

Here's some shots from Angelique's victory:
