Match Announcements

Fantasy Wrestling Online has been a hectic place as of late.  We are building our infrastructure and will be debuting some of our new wrestling facilities in the very near future!  We also have some exciting matches on the horizon:

Several women are vying for the last two Premier Division spots.  There are four women who participated in later trials we feel deserve a chance.  The poll which closes in two days will determine at least one more grappler that gets another go at it.  We are still debating whether or not we may allow the woman who finishes second into the fray.  What we do know is there will be two matches narrowing the aforementioned four down to two.  The poll winner makes three, and there will be a wildcard competitor for that last spot one way or another.  The winners of those matches will become our new Premier Division wrestlers.  Phew!

While all this is going on, the four original Premier wrestlers will be breaking in our new ring in front of a live crowd!  The announced matches are:

     Sally vs Porshe

 Carmen vs Paloma

We decided to use the initial rankings to have the top ranked Carmen take on fourth ranked Paloma.  The other two girls will comprise the debut match to be seen right here early next week!  We wanted to reward these ladies for their early success by having an initial round of matches.  The matches will be our first under pro rules.  It's not too far off until we crown our first champion, and the competitors for that match will be selected based on the success of matches like these.  Seeing that all FWO championship matches will be in the ring, winning a match like this will give a good impression to the board of directors.  So, we wish these ladies good luck!

Lastly, you'll notice a slightly new format on the website, where you're able to navigate to a lot more recent posts than you could before from the front page.  Welcome to the 21st century, Blogger.  Also, Jim "The Boss" will no longer be personally making posts for the entire FWO.  He may make personal remarks, but for the most part, the posts will now be made by the FWO staff.  Jim delegated that responsibility to us, so he could concentrate on more "distinguished" duties.

Thanks for reading, and check back this afternoon for a unique post of matches from our trials!
