We moved the ladies in training back into the studio for this week's round of matches. Here's how the card went down:
We held a closed door developmental wrestler card in our new mat room last night. All the matches were submission or a 10-second pin to get the fall. Here are the results:
Fantasy Wrestling Online has been a hectic place as of late. We are building our infrastructure and will be debuting some of our new wrestling facilities in the very near future! We also have some exciting matches on the horizon:
Fantasy Wrestling Online has set up an official Twitter account! We're calling it "FWO Scoop" and it will be the way for our fans to keep up with all the behind the scenes happenings. It'll also be a good way to keep up with special announcements and alerts on when matches are posted. You can follow the feed in the right sidebar right here, or by clicking on the Twitter icon located on the right side of the top navigation bar.
This feed will be managed by two of my special assistants, who also happens to be in training as developmental wrestlers. We feel this will give you a unique and exciting perspective on our burgeoning young wrestling company!
Fantasy Wrestling Online is getting flooded with wanna be wrestlers. We have found quite a few potential superstars, and many have already proven their worth through trials (keep coming back to see some of them). However, there are only two more spots left in the initial Premier Division. To give an advantage to some of the girls who have been here from the outset, at least one loser from the last round of Premier Division qualifying matches will get a direct shot at the big time.
In order to pick which wrestler gets a do-over, we decided to hold a poll to let the fans decide. You can find it at the top of the right sidebar. In other words, here's your chance to book a match at FWO! So, vote for your favorite from the girls below:
Many matches are in the can or in the pipeline, and I'm debating whether I should publish them when complete or put them out in regular intervals. This is a free site, so I'm under no obligation to deliver periodic updates. Using that logic, I should just publish matches as I go. However, I do realize the way 20 updates in 10 days followed by no updates in a month looks on a blog.
I think a compromise will be best for now. So, I am going to schedule matches to be posted around 2-3 days apart. Due to my real world situation dealing with a new job starting in a few weeks, this will make the most sense.
In the meantime, while I pump out a good amount of matches, I'll also be posting profiles, interviews, etc... in between the scheduled matches to add more story and backdrop to the federation I'm creating here.
So, keep coming back to FWO and post if you like what you see. I'm always up for suggestions, so feel free to let me know what you want to see.
