From The Boss's Desk - 8/16

Greetings, wrestling fans. I'm Jim, the boss of Fantasy Online Wrestling. I would like to say a few words about the new competition format being implemented, some announced matches, and what you can do to join FWO as a wrestler.

First off, the response has been overwhelming since the launch of FWO. We've been inundated with inquiries from men and women who want to become wrestlers at this studio. If you are a woman of legal age in the United States, continue to send in your resumes and we will contact you if you appear to have what it takes. If you are a man, sorry to tell you that our male wrestlers have been thoroughly screened and there are no openings currently.

With the superb demand for new women wanting in, we think we've figured out a way to accomodate new entries as well as keep the current competiton running smoothly. We plan on making FWO a federation with three tiers. The bottom tier is for new wrestlers embarking on their careers at FWO. This will be called the "Developmental Division". One step up is the "Professional Division". Although each division will have a wrestler cap, this will likely be the largest division. The top tier will be called the "Premier Division". This will consist of the top six female and top four male wrestlers. To challenge for the woman's title, you must be in the premier division. There will eventually be a mixed wrestling championship, and when that is installed, only premier division wrestlers may challenge for it. Besides titles, wrestlers in the Premier Division will receive greater coverage on this site. While a handful of Professional Division encounters may be covered in a single post, Premier Division matches will more likely receive a 20+ picture account of a single fight.

Wrestlers will have a chance to be promoted or relegated based on a number of factors including record and how they are rated by the studio committee. There will also be a point system where mixed matches, or say boxing matches, will not count towards a wrestler's divisional record. Instead, they will be fighting for divisional points. These specialty matches will usually count for a lot more than a regular win, and will go a long way in determining who challenges for a title and who has to face a relegation fight. A lot still needs to be sorted out, but I wanted to give you a tatste of what's to come at Fantasy Wrestling Online.

In that spirit, I am pleased to announce our first relegation match of sorts. This week, Paloma and Dizzy will be squaring off. The winner continues on in the main cometition with the chance of earning a spot in the Premier Division. The loser will be offered a developmental contract. These ladies have been to the only ones to have lost their mixed matches. Although they likely faced the stiffest competition, I thought this will be a good setting for our first women's match at FWO. Look for that match later this week!

That's all for now. Enjoy the wrestling!

FWO-5: Prelims

We continue with our mixed wrestling trials as Porshe, a dancer from The Bronx, takes on Eddie. Also, Dizzy, a receptionist from right here in LA, takes on Tommy:

FWO-4: Sally

FWO-3: More Prelims

Here's a glimpse of two more wrestlers as they qualify for the main show:

Explanation On The Art / Site Direction

I'm not artistic by nature, but I am adept at cook-booking design. I'm trying to figure out the best way to make the scenes more dynamic, but for the time being, most of the matches will take place in the "studio". Poser 7, for some reason, has tremendous load times when there are props in a scene. This makes the creation process tedious, and takes away of my enjoyment. So, for a time it'll be pretty low tech at FWO.

Also, I want to keep the "competition" as the main, continuous storyline. Over time, I believe this will develop the best wrestlers while weeding out the less popular ones. Hopefully, this lasts long enough and evolves into a federation of sorts, but I feel the competition I'll be unveiling over time is the best way to make the site unique and stand out.

FWO-2: Carmen

Due to the large amount of qualifying matches, only short snippets of most of the matches will be shown. Today we get a glimpse of Carmen, an energetic cheerleader and dancer ready to make an impact in Fantasy Wrestling Online:

We gave her a match with Brad to prove her skills. Brad's a male model with little to no wrestling experience (not the only such male wrestler here). He soon realized this wasn't just some fun roll around with a hot chick. Or was it? We pick up the match already in progress:

FWO-1b

Paloma finally gained control over Jim. Will she be able to take the man down, or will she be taught a lesson by the man?

So there it is. Paloma is put in her place by the "The Boss". Whether she has earned a place in the main competition remains to be seen. However, something tells me Jim isn't finished with the cocky Brazilian.

Welcome to Fantasy Wrestling Online! This is my attempt at creating a unique 3D/cartoon exotic wrestling experience. I am in the process of learning the ins and outs of 3D modeling programs, experimenting with various comic creators, and toying around with the format for which my creation will be presented. So, expect the layout to change. In the future, expect regular matches, profiles of wrestlers, and more detailed story lines. So, I hope you enjoy what you see here and come back often!

Note: The first entry was actually published today, not back in July. That was when I started toying around with this idea.

FWO-1a

Welcome to Fantasy Wrestling Online! In each episode we will present a wrestling match featuring some of the hottest women on the planet! We have recruited some lovely ladies from around the globe and given them some basic wrestling training. The girls will compete against one another, as well as against men, for money, fame, and glory. The matches will take place in a variety of settings, and you will hear comments from the wrestlers before and after the encounters. The format is still being tweaked. However, one thing is certain: For a woman to enter the main competition, she must take on a male wrestler and show they are worthy. So, without further adieu:

Introducing Paloma! She is from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and works as a model/presenter on Brazilian television. She is one of our most voluptuous wrestlers, and she has been giving her instructors a lot of problems. She has been resistant to instruction and has elected to put the hurt on mentors while learning her moves! She has been selected for our first match due to her ability to hold her own. However, her oponent has been selected for another reason. Although it's not a greatly held secret most of the male wrestlers at the studio can be labeled as pushovers, Jim is wrestling Paloma for a reason I can't reveal at the moment.

Let's go to the studio:

Paloma finally gets the advantage over Jim. Will she take advantage and score a submission, or will Jim finish what he started?
